I hope that isn't my fault - maybe the highlights in my hair remind her of the white highlights on the dark brown monkey and she thinks she looks like me?
The whole way down and into the zoo Lauren kept talking about how she really wanted to see the tigers. I figured she was just saying that, but when we got there the mom tiger was making a bunch of noise and lauren said, "where's the baby tiger?" I forgot that last time we were there 3 of them had been running all over. Well, luckily they came frolicking out of the grass a minute later and she was so excited.
All those years of training finally coming in handy - she would NOT let me go on without stopping at the hippo sculpture for another picture. The panda was eating which made quite a loud sound as he ripped the bamboo into pieces. Lauren said he was "eating just like me", in fact, she wanted to demonstrate:
The cats in Cat Canyon were very active - I swear the jaguar was licking her lips as she walked by and saw Lauren - seriously she kept stopping and looking. As Lauren put it, "mom, that's freaking me out".. so we moved on, but not before Lauren made her jaguar face:

how cute are you two going to the zoo together! You got some great animal pictures, and Lauren is priceless with all her funny comments!
Love the jaguar face! She is too cute. The monkey hair comment is hilarious. Kids' viewpoints are so funny sometimes. It's nice that you had such fun together.
Seriously, how cute is she? I love at such a young age that kids can tell when they see a loud eater. Sorry Michelle, you are a rather loud eater. I love it!
