love

I love trampolines. The kids love trampolines. What is not to love about something that keeps the kids occupied for hours, never runs out of batteries, and could even be considered some sort of exercise? We had to take the old trampoline to the junkyard a couple months ago - it lived a good life, but it had given all it could give. Thankfully (although a bit anticlimatically) Santa brought a new one for Christmas - I'm not sure if this was more of a gift for the kids or for me?

The only thing I love more than that trampoline right now is the cherries that were on sale at Henry's. Not the usually underripe cherries, these are just like when I used to pull them off my grandma's cherry tree (except I didn't have to pay for those back then). We used to sit there and just eat as many cherries as we wanted. I can still hear my mom telling us how sick we were going to get and us kids laughing at her and then eating too many and getting sick. Did you know cherries are a great source of potassium and a food source for melatonin? oh yeah, and Vitamin C. I could probably have eaten all 4 bags I bought yesterday by myself in one day. Thank goodness I do have a little more self-control than I did back then, it's just too bad my kids like the cherries just as much as I do :)

Oh man, we missed out on them, they looked good, but I wasn't sure they would be ripe or have any taste. Next time. Nice tramp, I especially love the safety net.

Santa contemplated bringing a new trampoline to the Cloes household as well. But, Nintendo DS's won out. I am with you...trampolines bring Moms happiness. Maybe next year I will ask Santa to bring me a trampoline. Heck...my Birthday is right around the corner. Spa day, trampoline, Spa day, trampoline we will see which wins out.

Darn. I wish I had a Henry's near by.
Ditto on the trampoline. Hm...would it be weird if I bought one? Huh, seeing that there are no kids at my house anymore.

I have been waiting to see the new trampoline, looks like fun. Maybe we'll have to come over and test it out just to be sure. I forgot how much you love cherries, it's a good thing to love!
