So I feel a little like I'm on a roller coaster - really excited, really disappointed, then back to really excited. The Urgent Care doctor brought us down yesterday with the "rebroke collarbone" diagnosis, so then I figured I wouldn't be having the baby on Thursday as planned. Then today the Orthopedic Surgeon (upper extremity specialist) brought us back up - Robie's arm did move about 2mm, but I guess that is in the acceptable range and does not mean he is not healing - he should still be feeling pretty good in about a week or two, and is still on track with his healing process, so baby is back on for Thursday (if not before, ok, that's not happening, but you never know?)! Yippee!
Our Family Home Evening was a really fun one tonight - cleaning out the cars. The girls were initially against this idea (as with anything that involves working), but about 1/2 way through - they were really dirty so it took us a long time - Brooke said something along the lines of "this is just like doing our Saturday jobs but fun". I guess since we were all working together they actually enjoyed themselves. Go figure.
Back to me and baby - Thursday morning at 7am I'm going in. So what did other people wear home from the hospital - for the other girls, i think I just wore really ugly old maternity clothes or pajamas?, but I'm wondering what other people wear? I have a cute outfit for the baby, of course - I mean, i'm not totally negligent :)

Woo Hoo, Thursday! Do you take pictures of yourself leaving? Don't think I did... wore my yoga pants and maternity top.
Yay, Thursday!
I wore yoga pants and a one step down from maternity shirt.
Sounds like good news all around! I'm still stuck on the phrase "upper extremity specialist". I love it.
I don't love: The clothes I wore home from the hospital. At least it was something from early pregnancy!
That's funny, I can't remember thinking of my outfit from the hospital. It was all about the baby. Of course, I don't remember taking pictures either. That changes things a bit, eh?! I'm so excited for you!!!
hmmm. i think i just wore my jammies. jammie bottoms and a t-shirt that said "i love mom". yeah, i think that was it. good luck on thursday!!!!
I always get a cute sweat suit to wear home from the hospital. They are comfortable, they fit, and I love having a good sweat suit even after I loose all the baby weight. I have a few if you want to borrow one. I even have a blue one, not that the color matters. Will you call me lame if I tell you I wore blue home with Sam and pink home with Natalie?
I can't wait for this baby to get here!
I support a cute outfit that's reasonably comfortable. You can always change into pjs when you get home and go back to bed (dream world, are you out there ;-)). Gotta get at least one pic leaving the hospital and driving home for the first time!!
yeah for thursdays, i love having babies on thurdays. smiles!! loves & hugs!!!!
