Copy Cat

So I copied the job chart that was listed on another blog and I think they turned out pretty cute. The original was ridiculously cute, so I knew mine would be a rough approximation. The girls are pretty excited, though, so let's hope it is the motivation we need to get some work done without fighting :). Both older girls are about the same with a few different pictures, but mostly the rest is the same. I'll have to change Lauren's quite a bit, so we'll see how that goes. I copied someone else's idea to print them out at Costco (they print 8x12's) and then I am going to laminate it and they can use a whiteboard marker?

They started the demo today for the repipe. Of course, I had to run into my nemesis at the school who informed me that she got her repipe done for only $3400 (a little more than 1/2 of what we are paying) along with instructing me that I need to get a cake for Brooke's teacher which I am not doing because we are going to be out of pocket for a couple of days. Anyway, I'm not sure if I believe her about the repipe thing, but I have a source (thanks Laura) to find out for sure, in which case I plan on having another talk with our contractor about fair business practices, blah, blah...

Speaking of my nemesis, I must be using that word too much because last week when we were out, Brooke saw someone from her class and she said, "oh, there's my nemesis" with this like sarcastic 'watch out' tone. I said, "what?" She's like, "my nemesis, you know?" And then I guessed the girls name and i was right. This girl has been telling really scary stories (weird things about people dying, blood, guts, weird ghost stories, etc.) so Brooke had told her she didn't want to hear them anymore and then the girls didn't take that very well, so for a while they were not getting along at all (although I think this week they are close friends). Anyway, last week they were not getting along so I was able to guess her "nemesis". I might have to rethink that one :)
