Robie has returned from China, which means two things (two things that I'm going to blog about anyway). The first is Beijing 2008 Offical Olympic Merchandise. Of course the kids were excited to see what Daddy brought them from his trip - cute t-shirts for the older girls and some little plush toy/ornaments for Lauren with the Olympics logo. The other, more sad meaning of his return, is that I have to say good by to this:
That's right - Robie favorite pillow is also my favorite pillow. I used to have a pillow that I loved, but it was confiscated by Brooke, subsequently puked on, peed on and then disposed of (so sad). So while he is out of town, I get to confiscate his awesome pillow (let's not mention it while he's around, though.. hee hee). You gotta have some perks of having him gone, right?

Ha Ha, I get a king size bed to myself for 16 months. It is so soft and when I actually sleep I get to flop around as I please. Toby will hate my sleeping habits when he gets home..

I am sure you are so ready to have Robbie back. I am glad he made it safe! Cam and I have to buy identical pillows so we don't have the "favorite" jealousy!
Isn't it so much fun to see how excited your children get when daddy returns from being away. It's my favorite part of having Aqeel gone.
