Tyler Train

Robie and I have a new term for ourselves. OK, its not actually a term for him or me - its a term for what happens when the whole family goes anywhere together. The Tyler Train. Mostly because it feels like it is a never-ending stream of people rolling through the store. I realize there are only 6 of us (and Fox doesn't even qualify as a fully mobile person yet), so I'm not sure why it feels like we are moving a small army just to get out of the car and into the store.

Fox has been sick this last week. I feel a bit responsible, mostly because I was telling people how great it was that he was sleeping through the night. Obviously then he HAD to get a cold which wakes him up a couple of times every night. Surprisingly, he has still been mostly pleasant (I have not) but he just likes a lot more cuddle time. I wish I could just enjoy it more, but after just sitting there holding him for 30 minutes, I start remembering all the things that need to get done - laundry, cleaning, yardwork. None of them are quite as enjoyable, but still I let those thoughts nag at me. He loves hanging out with people. All he wants is someone to look at him and give him a big smile and he'll usually reward you with a smile back. He's mostly eating about every 3 hours, which can still seem like quite a lot in a busy day.
Yesterday Ashley, her friend, David and Lauren kept themselves pretty busy in the afternoon. What were they doing? Well, according to the sign they made, I had to stay out since they were "playing and making up a show. Keep out" The show did have more of a plot than the usual dance around the living room show. Mostly it was David surfing on a giant wave which knocked Ashley away from the stove on a boat, after which David saved her from the water and then taught her how to surf. I wonder if we can sell that as a screenplay?

Choo choo!

I will hold that boy anytime.Serious. Bring him over so I can hold him and then you can go run errands.

You could call it Grade School Musical. It would be a huge hit.

And quite the train you are. At least you're not referring to yourselves as a "train wreck"!
I'm first in line to buy tickets to the show. I'm pretty sure they'll go for top dollar.

Can I request orchestra seats?

Maybe you could sell tickets to ride the Tyler Train and see the show. It could be a two for one deal!

I remember years ago when our family went into a store and Ryan said, "I hate this! Everyone's staring because there are six of us!"
