So Multicultural

We are so multicultural in our family (stop laughing, I even have proof). This morning Lauren was a little obsessed with going to the library when she remembered that we had returned her Cinderella book we had checked out last time. I informed her the library was closed to which she said, "library, abre" (open library in spanish).. good old Dora.

Then tonight we had a multicultural mother/daughter event at the school. After being the official money taker at the event (i'm already starting to regret signing on as Treasurer for next year), Brooke, Ash and I had a pretty good time. There were A LOT of people there, so it was a little crazy, and there were stops at like 20 different country stations, but the kids had a good time, if only because they got a bag full of junk (little goodies from each country, coloring pages, you name it). They did already declare they just HAVE to go next year (too bad it was a ton of work and I don't think the school is going to do it again - oh well, the kids will forget by next week :))
