Dreams
Ashley is working on an autobiography for her first 4th grade speech. I like the speech assignments and really helped Brooke quite a bit with hers (as in, completely reworked Brooke's entire speech when she was in 4th until it was AWESOME - not to toot my own horn or anything :)). Anyway, Ashley is super pumped about it so even though she has like 2 weeks she got started the other night and got most of it done pretty quickly. Hers even flowed and made sense, and she came up with her own idea for how to talk about her family (well, maybe her teacher brought it up, but she said it was her idea). Anyway, she wants to talk about each person's dreams. She wrote some cute dream ideas of her sisters (Olympic soccer stars, animal owners...) then gets to me and says, "mom, do you have dreams? Wait, let me guess. It would be that the house would be clean, right?". HMMM.. well, technically that is a dream of mine, but I hate to think that that is actually my dream for my life - a clean house! How about "kids that grow up happy and healthy and well-adjusted" or in a material vein "travel the world." Guess I need to make my dreams more well known!

That's awesome. I think my kids would say the same about me.
Honestly, a clean house is one of my biggest dreams right now. Aaron once wrote something about me at school. I think it was first grade. He said I had black hair, wore stretchy pants (I was pregnant okay!) and my hobby was cleaning the house.
