it's gone.. no, seriously it's gone

Ashley lost her first tooth! It got loose last week some time and she has been very patient, playing with it a little but not jarring it loose, like Brooke did, and finally it came out last night! I swear it is the smallest tooth ever - I had never really realized how little her teeth are! Of course, that means that we must have lost it 12 times before we got it inside the house into a ziploc bag. It just kept blending in with the placemat!It was hilarious to hear her and Brooke talking about the logistics of the tooth fairy - most of which solve the riddle of why some people get more money than others (i.e. if you have to really work hard you get a little more). Anyway, the tooth fairy even remembered to come (which if you'll remember is pretty much a first). Brooke was being very nice about it, but she did say something about how Ashley lost her first tooth earlier than she did and how she was really "lucky".
